Jürgen Jürgensen was born in 1745 and he was to have great significance for watchmaking history. He was both the father of the most famous Danish watchmaker Urban Jürgensen and at the same time the founding father of the horological dynasty which was to revolutionize the outdated structures of the clock- and watchmaking craft in Denmark. Through their use of new theoretical findings and practical working methods, they subsequently achieved the highest recognition both in Denmark and Switzerland.
Jules Jurgensen 25 Jewels Swiss
This very cool timepiece is a vintage Jules Jurgensen automatic wristwatch dated from the 1970s.
This wristwatch features a Swiss automatic caliber 7523 (INT), 25 jewels, with a sweep second, day/date indicator (day sets by changing 18:00-23:30h / date sets by changing 21:00-24h).
The dial is a very attractive and unique brown degrade dial (fading from dark outer edges to light center) with gold hour markers, white minute tracks and gold matching hands. The day/date indicator is located at 3 o’clock, and the dial is signed with the Jules Jurgensen name, Est. 1740, 25 Jewels, and Selfwinding.
It comes with an Italian, brown Genuine Lizard two-piece leather strap. It also comes with the original Jules Jurgensen brown velvety display box.
This is a cool vintage Hamilton automatic Elipsa wristwatch that is keeping excellent time!

This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
